Featuring Ravi Paranjape, will be on view in
the Broadway Gallery, New York from November 9, 2011
until November 29, 2011.
The Artists at Home and Abroad exhibition
series is a representation of both emerging and established
artists on an international scale. This exhibit incorporates
a vast range of contemporary image making. The artists
included in this exhibit explore modern and postmodern
approaches in an incredibly exciting fashion. Curated
by Abraham Lubelski this exhibit presents a group of
artists on the edge of contemporary art.
Gunijan Kala Puraskar, 2010
In its twelfth year, the Gunijan Kala Puraskar has lived
upto its name of identifying truly dedicated artists.
Beginning in 1998 the award has been given to deserving
artists from India. Recipients are selected by a panel
of expert senior artists.
It serves as recognition for those
contributing positively to the field of art and also
as encouragement for young artists choosing a career
in the same.
